Internships

A full 100% of AGED students participate in internships and/or student teaching experiences while working towards their degree. Agricultural Sciences Education students obtain teaching opportunities in school districts throughout Illinois. Agricultural Leadership Education majors complete a minimum 10-week professional internship with a company or organization of their choice. While many students complete an internship during the summer between junior and senior years, others choose internships that are offered part-time during the fall or spring semester. Students have completed internships with more than 60 companies and organizations as listed below. Visit the Ag Ed Internship blog to read more about internship experiences, or check out the Ag Ed Internship Video Gallery.
