Student-led organizations are a great way to network with peers and get involved with the campus community. The Agricultural Education Program sponsors organizations that may be of particular interest to students pursuing an Agricultural Leadership and Science Education degree.
Ag Ed Club
The Ag Ed Club meets monthly to organize recruitment activities for ExplorACES and FFA conventions and assist with planning for State FFA Career Development Events. Members can participate in a two-day professional development trip in the Spring semester to explore agriculture businesses and agricultural education programs at both the collegiate and secondary levels of education.
Collegiate FFA (CFFA) and Postsecondary Agricultural Student Organization (PAS)
Any students in the College of ACES are welcome to join the Collegiate CFFA and PAS chapter. Members coordinate the FFA Greenhand Conference and the State FFA Awards Day. Members are provided multiple opportunities to judge section, district, and state FFA Career Development Events. Additionally, members of the CFFA and PAS chapter participate in the state job interview, debate, and team competitions.
