I grew up on a third generation family farm. I hail from the little town of Piper City, IL. Piper City is about 100 miles south of Chicago in the panhandle of Ford County. I enjoy agricultural history and mechanical things such as tractors, steam engines, and antique farm equipment.
I have worked with a great many wonderful people in my life. I have always wanted to teach agriculture, but I didn't feel that I was ready in my youth to pursue a teaching career. Three years ago I realized that it was time to pursue a teaching career. I have my Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Mechanization and will have my Masters in Agricultural Education by the spring of 2009.
