Student Portfolios
Welcome to the University of Illinois Agricultural Education Student Teachers' Portfolio web site. Agricultural Education students are required to create a unique portfolio that reflects experience and understanding of the process involved in becoming a teacher.
The purpose of the teaching portfolio is to assist student teaching interns in:
1. Developing skills as a reflective practioner and establishing their teaching philosophy.
2. Collecting the documentation needed to meet the Illinois Professional Teaching Standards.
3. Making connections between classroom instruction and "real life" teaching experiences.
4. Marketing themselves to potential employers.
