Marketing Specialist at AGCO
After graduating from the University of Illinois in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Leadership Education, Nicole Yung has been added to the AGCO team as a Marketing Specialist. At AGCO, Nicole enjoys working closely with several people and companies on a daily basis through various channels of communication. She updates social media, writes for their website, and plans and executes different events. In order to be successful as a marketing specialist, Ms. Yung credits the University of Illinois for preparing her to be an effective communicator, and enhancing ability to adapt and be thorough in her work.
The Alexis, Illinois, native chose the University of Illinois because “students are held to the highest academic expectations while instilling a sense of pride and loyalty of the honored traditions of the Orange and Blue to its students.” She found that the Orange and Blue gave her a “big family” in the College of ACES that care about “your development and success as both a student and a person.”
Outside of the classroom, Nicole chose to be involved with organizations that “strive to make a difference and move forward” such as the Ag Ed Club, the Sigma Alpha professional sorority, and the Student Advancement Committee. She also found time while attending the University of Illinois to enjoy being in Memorial Stadium, Assembly Hall, or Huff Hall to show her loyalty as an Illini.
