Kade Hill is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Education so that someday he might positively impact students the same way his high school agriculture teachers impacted him. "They were able to see talents and skills within me that I never would've recognized without their guidance," he said. "Not only did they see these talents and skills, but they also pushed me to apply them to achieve greater goals." Kade credits his high school ag teachers for exposing him to numerous opportunities that have helped make him into the person he is today.
Kade’s focus on a career in agriculture stems entirely from his involvement in high school agriculture classes. He is family-focused and proud to be a student at the University of Illinois. As a student at the U of I, Kade said, “Nothing makes me happier than knowing I’m a part of something so much bigger than myself.” Kade’s advice for students is: “If presented with the opportunity to try something new, do it! I personally am not the type of person to go out on a limb and try new things. However, I’ve learned that exposure to new and different opportunities can lead to some of the best experiences of our lives.”
