Agricultural Leadership Requirements

126 total hours (including up to 25 hours general electives) are required. 

University General Education

  • 1 Basic Composition and Speech course
  • 1 Advanced Composition course (AGED 230)
  • 1 Western and 1 Non-Western Cultural Studies course
  • 1 Quantitative Reasoning I course (Finite Math or Calculus)
  • 1 Quantitative Reasoning II course (Statistics)
  • 2 Natural Sciences and Technology courses (Chemistry and Intro to Crop Science)
  • 2 Humanities and the Arts courses
  • 2 Social/Behavioral Sciences courses (Ag Consumer, and Resource Economics)
  • 3 high school years or third-semester college level of proficiency in one (the same all 3 years) foreign language
